Neem tree has many uses that you can benefit from. What is a Neem Tree, and why would you want to grow one?  A Neem tree has been referred to as the tree to Solve Global Problems.  Neem Tree:  A Tree for Solving Global Problems Condition

A Neem tree (Azadiracheta  Indica) is to me is without a doubt the most valuable tree you will ever find or plant.  The Neem tree is native to India and south East Asia.  It can survive in arid, semi arid, and tropical climates.  The Neem tree can be grown in poor and dry soil conditions, but does not do well in soil with a heavy clay content.  The best soil for growth is soil with a high sand content.  The Neem tree has adapted to a wide variety on weather conditions   and can survive temperatures from 32 to 116 degrees Fahrenheit.  It does not do well with temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. It can adapt to heavy or light annual rainfall conditions.  An average Neem tree will grow to a height of 40 to 50 feet and it is a fairly fast grower.

In some areas of the world Neem trees are used for wind breaks, fire wood, shade trees, and a natural pesticide. Wood from the Neem tree is on the heavy side and is similar to mahogany in appearance.  Making furniture is another use of the Neem tree.  Researchers around the world have been doing research on products produced from the Neem tree for many years.  There is a very long list of medicinal benefits that come from  Neem tree products.

The  National Institutes of Health's Library of Medicine website is an excellent source of information on research studies of neem. From what I’ve read about the Neem tree, every part of the tree can be used for numerous products.  Extract from the bark has been beneficial in treating jaundice, malaria, and skin diseases. Flowers from the Neem tree contain an abundance of nectar and has been found to be beneficial in treating fatigue and dyspepsia.  In some areas of the world the twigs from the Neem tree are used for dental cleaning. The leaves aid in digestion, diarrhea, and dysentery.  They also have natural insecticide properties.  Fruit from the Neem tree is beneficial in treating urinary disease and piles.  In some areas of the world the fruit is used for crop protection against locust.  There are numerous commercial products made from the Neem tree.  Neem oil is produced from the fruit seed and is used in making soaps, lotions, waxes, and lubricants to name a few.  There are Neem Tree farms in the United States that grow and sell trees and products made from  the tree.  You can find them easily on the internet.
